the interwebs is forever
Just googled myself to see if this blog is showing up. What do I find but two posts to a fairly obscure mailing list from years ago. In one post I was referring to my experiences with one of my clients in an anonymised manner. The other was asking for help with another client's problem also carefully worded. In conversation with others outside my direct team in order to protect my client's security I never identify them by name or use any details that could uniquely identify them. However on the web now with archiving of mail lists as well as forum posts there is potentially the opportunity to put the pieces together. Thanks google, now I have to employ counter intelligence as I don't wish to adopt a psuedonymn, that's sooo 90s 31337 :)
